We were given a £600k budget and 12 weeks to complete a full makeover project on the Tomorrow Building at MediaCity.
The space was stripped out from floor to ceiling, all existing walls were removed and disposed of and replaced with glazed partitions to form new office areas, and new comms and M&E services were routed throughout the unit.
The floor finishes were swapped for raised-access floor, and a new purpose-built break-out seating area was created. All walls and ceilings were refinished, and a modern lighting design implemented to transform the space into a peaceful and practical new working environment.
While the renovation took place, we were particularly proud that all existing tenants were able to remain in the building undisturbed while the work was completed.
Our Other Work
2nd and 3rd Floor, White Building, Media City
Consensus was appointed as the main contractor by Peel Media Ltd to complete the works to the vacant floors in the White Building.
Our brief was to turn an unused ground floor unit that had been empty for over 10 years, into a new home for Calderpeel Architects.
